A production process is a series of steps that creates a product or service. Production activities beginning with sourcing of raw materials from supplier to manufacturing product and ending with the finished product to the customer.
Sourcing of raw materials & selection
Raw materials, including ingredients, processing aids, and packaging material are the foundation of finished food products. As such, they must meet not only our specifications (contribute to the functionality and quality of our process and product), but also regulatory requirements (safe and legal guidance for our intended use to ensure standards are met).
Our R&D team selects the appropriate raw materials based on functionality which encompass multiple areas, such as providing identified characteristics of the finished product (binders, thickeners, type of resin for plastic packaging, etc.), organoleptic characteristics (flavor, color, aroma, texture), product safety characteristics (to lower the pH or water activity to a safe limit that prevents any form of microbial growth), and preservatives (extension of shelf life, color, or flavor retention, etc.).
Incoming material – Prior to release for production use, Certification of Analysis (COA) will be checked to ensure it meets company specifications.
Quality of Raw Materials & Products
Quality will ensure that the raw materials, process, and practices will result in finished product that is safe, legal, and meets the company standards.
Functionality or quality parameters would include characteristics that can impact the functionality of the material or adversely impact our product, such as:
Manufacturing of Products
In our manufacturing lines it is ensured to comply with the national Food Safety and Quality requirements namely :
- Foundation Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000)
- International Organization for Standardization 9001:2015 (ISO 9001:2015)
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Quality management system (QMS)
- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
Logistic for Distribution of Finished Goods
Logistics is that part of supply chain management that plans, implements, and controls the efficient, effective forward and reverses flow and storage of product between the point of origin and the point of consumption to meet customers’ requirements. The logistic container is fumigated prior to loading and all pallets used for distribution are ensured to be heat treated to ensure free of pest. The temperature and humidity of the container are monitored thus is ensured to be within specification limit and the arrangement orientation at the time of distribution is observed to prevent any physical damage to the product.
