The health supplement sales story in Europe was similar with the UK recording increases in vitamin sales alone of 63 percent and in France sales grew by approximately 40–60 percent in March 2020 year-on-year. The increase in global health supplement sales were largely driven by the intense interest in supplements as possible preventative solutions for COVID-19 by protecting our immune system.
