Business Development Executive
Are you a natural relationship-builder who enjoys chasing new business and closing deals? UNO Nutrition is a nutraceutical OEM/ODM company looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Business & Sales team. This role focuses on bringing in new brand-owner customers from first contact through to closing the deal, while supporting existing accounts to keep customer relationships running smoothly.
What we are looking for
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development
- Experience in food manufacturing or the nutraceutical/supplement industry is a plus
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Interest in or understanding of the nutrition/supplement industry and OEM/ODM manufacturing
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and keen to learn the full sales cycle
- Comfortable working with numbers and preparing clear sales reports
- Willing to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and events
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle new business alongside account support
Senior R&D Executive
Lead new product development from concept and ingredient sourcing through laboratory formulation, testing, stability studies, trial runs, and pilot runs. Improve existing products, evaluate raw materials and suppliers, provide technical support during trials and commercialisation, review label content for regulatory compliance, maintain R&D documentation and specifications, support formulation costing and feasibility, manage department resources, guide team members, and report project progress, risks, and corrective actions to management.
What we are looking for
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Applied Science, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in R&D, product formulation, or laboratory work.
- Knowledge of Malaysian Food Regulations, Codex requirements, and food labelling standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects independently and liaise with customers, suppliers, Production, QA/QC, Business, and Sales.
- Able to coordinate and guide team members, monitor delivery, and report progress or issues to management.
